2. T: Let’s say a chant, OK?

The student say the chant about cucumbers.

T: Do you like singing?

Ss: Yes.

T: Let’s sing a song: Do you like watermelons?

Divide some groups aording to the fruit and vegetables.

1. Show the topic of this lesson.

T: Today we’ll learn Unit 4 How’s the weather today? Lesson 19(强调today, 铺垫下一步的教学)

2. To learn the word: fine and the drill: It’s fine today.

T: How are you?

S: Fine, thank you./ Fine, thanks./ I’m fine, thank you./ Good. And you?/ Not very well.

(强调fine的学习并板书,然后出示图片或当时的天气引出It’s fine today.)

T: How’s the weather today?

S: It’s fine today.

(师-生新知引入,生-师新知理解,小组练习新知巩固,小组展示,新知运用)

3. To learn the drill: It’s nice today.

S: How’s the weather today?

T: It’s nice today.

It’s fine today. We can also say: It’s nice today.

5. Say the chant.

First listen to the tape, then read after it, at last act it out.

1. To practise the phrase: play football and play with my kite.

1) T: How’s the weather today?

S: It’s fine/nice today.

T: Let’s play football. OK?

T: You can also say: Great!

Practise in groups.

2) T: How’s the weather today?

S: It’s fine/nice today.

T: Let’s play with my kite. OK?

S: …. (加入kite的教学,板书并领读,然后进行play with my kite的学习并利用实物进行表演)

引导学生利用Let’s play with my kite. 进行新的对话创作并表演。

3) Open the books and listen to the tape. Then read after it. Practise in groups. At last act it out.
